Mission Statement

Our Christian mission was founded in 1990 at the College of the Scriptures in Louisville, Kentucky. At that time, a young Haitian, Jean Alix Lusma, answered God's call to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people living in the largely unreached southern part of the nation.

CMSH is dedicated to evangelizing, planting churches, preparing pastors, and providing education for poor children in Haiti. We participate in the development of this area, including agriculture, orphanages, schools, health clinics, and hospitals. We also operate a radio station.

1. We are responding to the call of Jesus Christ in Mathew 28:19-20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." We also want to be obedient to Mark 16:15-16, which reads: "He said to them, 'Go into the entire world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.'"

2. It is our intent to preach the good news of Jesus Christ to all creation and save them into the Kingdom of Christ. John 13:34 instruct us: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

3. We must live the Christian life before others as an example from Christ Himself to this world.

4. We will partner with people who believe in Jesus Christ as their savior.
