Nouvelle Ecole Fondamental Eglise Du Christ, or N.E.F.E.C, was established in 1992 in Les Cayes. We have since moved to Bergeaud in 1999. Nouvelle Ecole Fondamental Eglise Du Christ began with less than 50 students; we have grown to hundreds of students. Our teachers and staff are committed to providing all students with a safe and nurturing learning environment. We offer a variety of extracurricular activities, such as sports and social clubs.

We strive to foster a safe, supportive environment where children of all backgrounds can learn, grow, and develop. Our teachers are passionate and dedicated to their students and do their best to provide quality education. Unfortunately, many of our teachers cannot make a living wage, Haiti is complicated in terms of finance, and most teachers are living in economic hardships. That's why we are asking for support to provide our teachers with fair compensation for their hard work. Nouvelle Ecole Fondamental Eglise Du Christ is a school built on the foundation of providing education to our students from early childhood to secondary school. We're committed to providing an environment encouraging our students to reach their full potential. We are all about helping our students. However, we need to help provide meals for our students during school hours, and our students come from poor families; they come to school hungry and cannot learn the content shared in class.
