Christian Mission South Haiti – December Newsletter

Season’s Greetings and End-of-Year Update

ree

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we enter the month of December, we extend warm greetings to you and your families. We pray that this holiday season will be filled with peace, joy, and renewed hope as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We thank God for your faithful prayers and support throughout the year. By His grace, the school year has ended on a very positive note. Enrollment has continued to grow, and we are now serving more than 400 students. This growth is a blessing, but it also brings new challenges. With more students, we must provide more daily meals, and the cost of feeding these children has increased significantly. We humbly ask for your prayers and assistance as we seek God’s provision to continue nourishing both the bodies and minds of these children.

Our school is also in urgent need of an office printer, which is essential for printing exams, lesson materials, reports, and other administrative documents. Having a reliable printer will greatly improve the efficiency and quality of our educational work.

This year has not been without hardship. Hurricane Melissa caused damage to our generator, leaving us without reliable power for school and ministry activities. In addition, the need for transportation for our ministers remains ongoing. Many of our preachers still travel long distances, often on foot, to reach their congregations. Several churches also continue to worship in buildings that lack basic materials and repairs.

As we close the year, we ask you to pray earnestly for our churches and ministers, that God would strengthen, protect, and encourage them as they serve faithfully in difficult conditions.

Ways You Can Help

  • Support our classroom expansion – Help us complete construction for our growing student body.

  • Sponsor a motorcycle – Equip a preacher to bring the Gospel to distant congregations.

  • Contribute to the agriculture project – Provide PVC pipes and supplies for irrigation.

  • Donate a generator – Keep our school and ministry powered for daily service.

Thank you for standing with us in faith, prayer, and love. May the Lord richly bless you this Christmas season and in the coming New Year.
