Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we enter the month of May, we lift our hearts in thanksgiving to God for His unfailing faithfulness and tender mercies. We continue to trust in His sustaining power as we labor in His vineyard, and we humbly ask that He lead us forward in the way He sees best for this ministry and the people we serve.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." — Proverbs 3:5–6
A Year of Blessing in Our Schools
By God's grace, we are approaching the close of a truly remarkable school year. We praise the Lord for the privilege of serving more than 300 elementary and high school students throughout this academic year. What a blessing it has been to witness these young lives grow—not only in academic knowledge, but also in faith, character, and the love of Christ.
We give thanks to God for:
The dedication of our teachers and staff who labored faithfully throughout the year
The perseverance of our students, who continued their studies despite many hardships
The partnership of parents and families who supported our work
The provision and protection the Lord has shown over our schools, even in difficult times
"I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." — 1 Corinthians 3:6
Urgent Need: School Supplies
As this school year draws to a close and we prepare for the next, we come to you with a pressing need: school supplies.
Many of our students live in deep poverty and cannot afford even the most basic items needed for learning. With your prayerful support, we hope to provide:
Notebooks, pencils, pens, and erasers
Backpacks for students
Textbooks and reading materials
Paper, ink, and printing supplies
Classroom materials such as chalk, markers, and crayons
Basic hygiene supplies for the children

Every contribution—large or small—helps ensure that another child can return to a safe, Christ-centered classroom equipped and ready to learn.
A Call to Prayer
Above all, we humbly ask for your prayers. Christian Mission South Haiti needs the Lord's hand to guide each step we take. We ask that God lead us in the way He sees best, and that His will be done in this ministry.
Please pray:
That God would lead us according to His perfect will and timing
For His provision of school supplies and resources for the coming year
For wisdom and clarity as we plan for the next school term
For the continued strength and growth of the ministry
For the families in our churches facing difficult circumstances
For peace, safety, and stability throughout Haiti
"The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect His people." — 2 Thessalonians 3:3
Continuing Needs Before Us
We continue to lift before you the ongoing needs of our mission:
School Expansion: Enrollment continues to grow, and additional classroom space is urgently needed.
St. Martin Church of Christ: The building near the ocean, damaged by the earthquake, remains at risk of collapse without renovation.

Child Sponsorships: Many students still need support for education and daily care.
Restroom Construction: A modern restroom for the shared church and school compound remains a priority.
Transportation for Preachers: Reliable transportation is needed for ministers traveling long distances (Romans 10:15).
School Equipment: Printers and basic office tools are needed for daily operations.
Prayer for Our Ministers
We also ask for prayers for our ministers who labor faithfully in the work of the Lord:
Alex Lusma, Saurel Augustin, Jean Yves St Clair, Rivette Jean Annonce, Teonel Taya, Dieulifaite Saint-Vil, Brunel Theneus, Yvon St-Prino, Worldensky Alcide, Azor Evens, and Dieusel Bernard.
May the Lord continue to strengthen, guide, and protect them in their service.
Closing Encouragement
Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement, and partnership in the work of the Lord. We are deeply grateful for every brother and sister who stands with us in this mission. May God bless you abundantly for your faithfulness.
"Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain." — 1 Corinthians 15:58
