Dear Beloved Supporters of Christian Mission South Haiti,

It is with heavy hearts and tear-filled eyes that we write to you today. In the midst of the darkness that has enveloped our beloved Haiti, we find solace and strength in your unwavering support and prayers. We, the members of Christian Mission South Haiti, come to you not only as a congregation but as a community deeply rooted in faith, hope, and love.

In the past three years, our nation has been gripped by an overwhelming wave of injustice, human kidnappings, and murder. The very essence of humanity seems to have been overshadowed by fear and despair. As the heartbeats of our country grow faint, we, too, face the bitter realities of our circumstances. It is not just the absence of stability that haunts us; it is the loss of lives, of dreams, of innocence, and of the very fabric that binds a community together.

From the month of April to September, we have mourned the passing of several cherished members of our church. Their absence is felt like an echoing silence in our hearts. We have witnessed the dreams of our children being shattered as schools remain closed, robbing them of their right to education.

Our dedicated teachers, the unsung heroes in our community, struggle to make ends meet as they work tirelessly, nurturing the minds of our future leaders.

Our preachers, the pillars of spiritual guidance, face the challenge of reaching their congregations without the means of transportation.

In this time of immense suffering, we turn to you, our dear friends and supporters, with a humble plea for your prayers. We beseech you to join us in prayer for the restoration of our beloved Haiti:

1. Pray for Our Country:

Pray for Haiti, that peace may prevail, and stability may return to our nation.

Pray for our government, for wisdom and compassion to guide their decisions, leading our nation toward a brighter tomorrow.

2. Pray for Christian Mission South Haiti:

Pray for our mission to save the people of Haiti, that we may find the strength and resources to continue our work amidst adversity.

Pray for the children in our area, that their dreams may be rekindled, and they find the opportunity to receive education and nurture their talents.

3. Pray for the Vulnerable:

Pray for the single mothers who, in their struggle, find it difficult to provide for their children. May they find the support and resources they need.

Pray for the members of our churches, that their faith may remain unshaken despite the hardships they face.

4. Pray for the Needy:

Pray for those who go to bed hungry, that their cries may be heard, and they may receive the nourishment they require.

Pray for the sick, that they may find healing, comfort, and the care they need to recover.

5. Pray for Christian Mission South Haiti’s Resources:

Pray for the financial resources of Christian Mission South Haiti, that we may continue to support the children in need and provide essential services to our community.

Pray for more supporters to join our mission, that together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of the people we serve.

In the face of adversity, your prayers become our guiding light, illuminating the path of hope amidst the darkness. We believe in the power of collective prayer and the strength of a community that stands together in faith.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who have been supporting us. Your contributions, both in prayers and resources, have been the lifeline that has sustained us in these trying times. We acknowledge the sacrifices you have made to help us, and we assure you that your kindness and generosity have not gone unnoticed.

As we navigate these challenging waters, we are reminded of the words from Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Let these words be our guiding beacon, reminding us that even in the midst of despair, God’s love and grace prevail. Together, let us continue to pray, support, and uplift one another, knowing that in unity, we find strength.
