“We live by faith, not by sight.”— 2 Corinthians 5:7
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Warm greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We praise God for your love, prayers, and support that sustain this mission in Haiti. The month of September has been both a time of testing and triumph. Though the storms have come—both spiritual and physical—we stand firm, trusting in the unshakable promises of God.
Growth in the Midst of Challenge
The new school year began this September, and by God’s grace, enrollment has surpassed expectations. The number of children registered now exceeds the space available in our classrooms.
With the funds received, we laid the foundation for an additional classroom and purchased concrete blocks. However, the resources were not enough to complete construction. We are praying for partners who can help us finish this expansion. Each new classroom represents opportunity, hope, and a future for Haiti’s children.
“My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”— Philippians 4:19
After the Storm
As the month ended, southern Haiti was hit by severe flooding caused by major disturbances in the sky. Many families lost homes, livestock, and crops. The poorest among us are struggling to recover. CMSH has done what we can to help, but the needs are far greater than our means.

We ask for your continued prayers and assistance. Donations of food, clothing, and school supplies are deeply needed and appreciated.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.”— Galatians 6:2
A Need for Power
Our mission has relied for years on two small generators donated by Brother Kingle. They have served faithfully but are now near the end of their life. Reliable electricity is essential for classrooms, offices, and church services.
We are praying for new generators to continue powering this ministry.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”— 2 Corinthians 9:8
The Agriculture Project
Our “Konbit Mayi ak Poul” (Corn and Poultry Cooperative) continues to be a source of blessing for families in Les Cayes. Even through the floods, it provided much-needed food relief. By December, we expect to harvest Congo beans—a sign of God’s faithfulness and provision.
We need PVC pipes and irrigation materials to improve the farm’s productivity. This project not only feeds families but also restores dignity and stability through meaningful work.
“The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops.”— 2 Timothy 2:6
Motorcycles for Preachers
We recently delivered a motorcycle to Preacher Teonel Taya, a generous gift from one of our supporters. It has already made a tremendous impact, allowing him to reach remote congregations faster and more safely.

However, four more preachers still walk long distances to carry the Gospel each week. Each motorcycle costs about $1,600, including a helmet and ministry backpack. Would you prayerfully consider sponsoring one, or joining with others to share the cost?
“How can they preach unless they are sent?”— Romans 10:15
Spire Convention 2025
This year, Christian Mission South Haiti will attend the Spire Convention, a gathering of churches and mission partners dedicated to advancing the Gospel worldwide.
Our Board President, Brother Jim Johnston, will represent CMSH at this important event. It will be a valuable opportunity to share Haiti’s story, connect with supporting congregations, and build long-term partnerships for the ministry’s future.
We ask for your prayers and financial support to make this trip possible. The total cost for registration, lodging, and materials is approximately $3,500.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”— 1 Peter 4:10
