Christian Mission South Haiti - September 2025 Newsletter

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are always thankful for your prayers, your love, and your faithful support of the ministry here in southern Haiti. Today, we want to share with you some wonderful news that has filled our hearts with gratitude.

Academic Success – 9th Grade Students

This year, our 9th grade students sat for the Haitian national exams, a critical milestone for their educational journey. By God’s grace and through your faithful support, 99% of our students passed! This is truly an answer to prayer and a testimony of God’s provision.

The success of these young people reflects not only their dedication and the hard work of their teachers, but also the daily nourishment, resources, and spiritual encouragement made possible through your partnership. Together, we are shaping the future leaders of Haiti, grounded in both knowledge and the Word of God.

A Joyful Family Blessing

We also rejoice with our dear brother Jean Lusma and his family. His daughter, Joanie, has given birth to a healthy baby boy. Mother and child are both doing well. We thank you for lifting this family in your prayers and join them in praising God for this new life.

Ongoing Needs and Prayer Requests

While we celebrate these blessings, we also ask you to continue praying for the needs before us:

Daily Feeding Program: With over 400 children in our school, providing a daily meal remains both our greatest joy and our greatest financial challenge. Food prices continue to rise, yet we are committed to nourishing these little ones in body and spirit.

School Growth: We need to build additional classrooms to accommodate increasing enrollment and maintain a quality learning environment.

Agriculture Project: We continue to work toward food sustainability through cultivating land, digging wells, and installing irrigation systems. Please pray for provision as we invest in long-term solutions.

Ministry Transportation: Our ministers travel through rural villages to preach and strengthen churches. We urgently need motorcycles to carry the Gospel farther into the communities we serve.

Thank You for Your Partnership

We cannot say it enough — your prayers, your giving, and your encouragement are what make this work possible. Every child who eats a meal, every student who succeeds in school, every sermon preached in a remote village — these are fruits of your partnership in the Gospel.

Please continue to keep CMSH in your prayers as we labor together for the Kingdom. May God bless you richly as you share in the joy of these victories.

In Christ’s service,

Jean Alix Lusma
