On Sunday, May 12, 2025, while traveling to join our brothers and sisters at the Ceide Church of Christ for a special time of worship and fellowship, our mission team was involved in a minor car accident. The front of our ministry vehicle sustained serious damage, including a bent hood, broken grill, and a cracked windshield. Despite the impact and visible damage, we thank God that everyone in the vehicle was unharmed.

We were able to continue on to Ceide and complete the service as planned. The worship was powerful, the message of Christ was shared, and souls were uplifted. The Spirit of the Lord was present among His people, and we give all glory to Him who holds our lives in His hand.

By God’s grace, we even managed to drive the same damaged vehicle back home. This was no small miracle, and it reminds us that the Lord truly goes before us. As the Apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 4:8–9, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
We know the enemy would love to discourage and disrupt the work of the Lord, but through trials and setbacks, God is still working. What was meant to slow us down only became another testimony of God’s faithfulness and protection.

While we rejoice in His goodness, we also face the practical reality of repair needs. The vehicle now requires significant bodywork—including a new hood, bumper alignment, and windshield replacement. It has been a faithful part of our mission fleet for years, helping us reach remote congregations and serve those in need.

We are asking for your prayers and any possible support toward these repairs. As Philippians 4:6 encourages us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” We trust that God will make a way, as He always has.
Please join us in thanking God for His protection and continued provision. Let this update be a reminder that even in moments of hardship, we are not alone. The mission continues, the Gospel moves forward, and the name of Jesus is still being glorified across Haiti.
With grateful hearts,
Christian Mission South Haiti Team
