Christian Mission South Haiti (CMSH)

“Praise and glory be to God for all His blessings.” Amen. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, we greet you with love in the precious name of Jesus. We continue in this ministry because of God’s grace and because of your faithful partnership in the gospel. Through your prayers and support, lives are being changed in South Haiti. For this, we are deeply grateful. Even through challenges—month after month and year after year—the Lord remains faithful.

2025 Ministry Report

We rejoice to share what God accomplished in 2025:16 baptisms12 babies born2 members who went home to be with the Lord404 students enrolled in our schools38 needy children receiving special assistance47 families helped6 single mothers currently supported (with many more in need)We thank Brother Russell Deriso for faithfully sending $200 per month to help provide food for our 404 students. However, this amount is not sufficient to meet the growing need. We are prayerfully seeking sponsors at $20 per child per month to help cover meals and school expenses.

Fire Recovery Update

Last month, a fire destroyed my office and bedroom. Many essential items were lost. By God’s grace, a dear friend sent a used laptop, which has allowed us to continue communication and ministry administration.

We are thankful. Remaining needs include: An HP printer ($400) A desk ($600) Printer ink and paper Clothing for my wife and me $3,000 for structural repairs Replacement inverter batteries We have received over $2,000 toward recovery. Approximately $6,500 is still needed. If anyone would consider assisting with a loan, we would arrange monthly repayments.

Agriculture & Evangelism in 2026

Last year we cultivated corn and beans to help feed hungry families. We desire to continue expanding this agricultural effort.This year is also dedicated to evangelization. We need Bibles, speakers, microphones, mixers, and cables to strengthen outreach in our churches.

Sports Ministry – Reaching Young Hearts Through Soccer

We are excited to share that CMSH has developed a sports ministry for young men through soccer. Recently, our team participated in a local tournament—and by God’s grace, they won! This has opened powerful doors to mentor young men spiritually while building discipline, teamwork, and character. We desire to continue and expand this ministry—not only for young men, but in the future for young ladies as well.

To do so, we need support for: Jerseys and uniforms, Soccer balls, Soccer cleats, Transportation for tournaments, Basic training equipment.

We would be thrilled to partner with individuals who feel called to serve the Kingdom of God through sports ministry. We also need volunteers and advocates who can help promote and fundraise for this growing outreach.

Prayer & Partnership

Please pray for our preachers and their families, for our Board members, for Pastor Jim, and for all our supporters. We are also seeking additional Board members—men and women willing to dedicate their time and experience to the Lord’s work through CMSH. When we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, things happen. Let us unite our faith for His glory.
